The "vroom vroom" gang
They go by many names across all kingdoms. Some call them the ponies, horsemen, racers, farmers delight etc. This are the Cavalry troops. They are the fastest troops in the game. They are good for everything, quick resource node gathering, preferred choice for farming caravans and creature because of their speed and attack strength, almost every player's preferred choice for attack vs other players at sop/keep. They are the true definition of "burn it all"*because they are built for attack. With so much speed and attack it is painful they lack in health and defense but WB are making amendments to this issues.
-> The Vale and The Reach offers some good boost for ownership of its sops for Cavalry based troops along with troop training speed/cap

Ways to boost your Cavalry troops
1. Research
Ridiculously expensive as you good up in levels just for +1% increase in stats. Thorned Bride gear sets can help reduce the cost of research in Military 1, 2 and Advance military.
Military i
Cavalry tactics (Cavalry attack)
Level 1 = +3%
Level 2 = +5%
Level 3 = +7%
Total= +15%

Coat of plate (Cavalry defense)
Level 1 = +3%
Level 2 = +5%
Level 3 = +7%
Total= +15%

Cavalry fortitude (Cavalry health)
Level 1 = +3%
Level 2 = +5%
Level 3 = +7%
Total= +15%

Military ii
Same names as we have them in military one. There are two levels of each with each research giving a +2% increase in stats (total of 10 research per level) Total stats increase available in this tree is +20%
Infantry atk, def, health at sop= +20% (2 levels of 10 in each level, +2% increase per research)

Advance Military
Focus of this tree is vs player and vs player's troop type.

Embolden Cavalry (Cavalry attack vs player)**
Level 1 = +3%
Level 2 = +5%
Level 3 = +7%
Total= +15%

Cavalry grit (Cavalry health vs player)
Level 1 = +3%
Level 2 = +5%
Level 3 = +7%
Total= +15%

Cavalry Bolster (Cavalry defense vs player)
Level 1 = +3%
Level 2 = +5%
Level 3 = +7%
Total= +15%

Various atk,def, health vs player's troop type
Level 1 = +3%
Level 2 = +5%
Level 3 = +7%
Total= +15%

Adolescent (dragon research)
Carnage (dragon: Cavalry attack)
Level 1 = +10%
Level 2 = +10%
Total= +20%

Sheltered (dragon: Cavalry health)
Level 1 = +10%
Level 2 = +10%
Total= +20%

Overwatch (dragon: Cavalry defense)
Level 1 = +10%
Level 2 = +10%
Total= +20%

Adult (dragon research)
Various atk, def, health vs player's stats

For the dragon related stats to apply, you'll need your dragon to be present with your troops

Maester Chains
Military 1 = +2% Cavalry defense
Military 2 = +2% Cavalry attack
Military 3 = +2% Cavalry health

Advance military 1 = +2% Cavalry defense vs player
Advance Military 2 = +2% Cavalry attack vs player
Advance Military 3 = +2% Cavalry health vs player

3. Dragon talents
Your dragon gains experience points which are called "TALENT" after reaching certain points while feeding on a daily. This talents can be spent to train your dragon in certain areas in your keep. You can also boost your troops with this talents.

Hatchling
The stats from this tree applies WITH/WITHOUT your dragon. Total available stats for atk, health, and def is +15% each ( level 1 = +5%, level 2 = +10%)

Whelp
This tree requires your dragon to be present for the boost to apply. Total available stats for "dragon: Infantry defense = +15%" (2 levels) I recommend only going for level 1. The amount of talent require to get level 2 isn't worth it imo (unless you use your dragon to gather resources nodes).

Adolescent
This tree also requires your dragon to be present for the boost to apply. Available stats are *"dragon: Infantry Def/health = +15% (2 levels). If you hunt with your Infantry troops like I do, this tree is a goldmine but you have to prioritize to get the best boost.

Adult
Various vs player stats are available

4. Cavalry Enhancement
Stable
-> attack vs player
-> defense vs player's Infantry
-> defense vs player's Ranged

Rookery
-> attack vs player's Infantry

Smithy
-> attack vs player's Ranged

Training yard
-> defense vs player's Cavalry

Great Hall
-> attack vs player's Cavalry

Storehouse
-> health vs player

Wall
-> defense vs player

I usually advice players when working building enhancement to consider what troop type they'll be up against most of the time in their kingdom. Most kingdoms are are Infantry and Cavalry heavy with Ranged coming in slow and steady (we will see more Ranged focused players because of the recent Ranged gear set). Since most Cavalry based players will facing more Infantry based players which is the natural weakness of Cavalry troops, it will be smart to work your enhancement to cover that side more

Here is how you can go about it
i. Health, Def and atk vs player
ii. All vs Infantry
iii. All vs Cavalry
iv. All vs Ranged

Reason for this setup is because Cavalry troops are very low on health and defense so you need to boost those end first. You can go for atk vs player later (don't neglect it totally). Next you want to increase their stats vs their natural weakness Infantry. Give them some more juice vs Cavalry. For Ranged you can work as you deem fit cos step 1 will naturally strengthen them more vs Ranged, so doing specific vs Ranged is just adding salt to the injure.

5. Armory sets
Armory sets works hand in hand with your building enhancement, they are like twins. This aspect is to further boost what you have going with your enhancement.

Dorathki
-> defense vs player's Ranged
-> health while marching vs player
-> health vs player


Dornish
-> attack vs player's Ranged
-> defense vs player's Ranged
-> attack vs player

Falcon Knight
-> attack vs player's Cavalry
-> march speed vs sop
-> attack vs player

Baelish
-> attack vs player's Cavalry
-> march speed to Join rally
-> attack vs player

Other sets that can help with strengthen your Cavalry troops

Blackfyre
-> Troop def vs player
-> Troop health vs player
-> Troop atk vs player

Conquerors Regalia
-> Dragon atk
-> Troop health vs player
-> Troop atk vs player

Dragon Keeper
-> health while marching vs player

Once the June gear set is officially released it will further strengthen Cavalry troops

Tyrion gear set
-> Cavalry Defense v Infantry
-> Troop Defense v Player
