One major aspect to this game is hitting creatures or mobs. You can buy just about everything else this game requires but prestige is earned through daily quest (click here) and hitting mobs. There are a few different categories of creatures and I'll go over them in this guide.

The first type is basic non-event mobs. These are the animals and bandit camps on the battle field. They typically don't have lit up bases and they drop random basic crafting mats most of the time. They go from level 1 to level 30, with the highest concentration of higher levels being found around Winterfell and Sunspear. During trinket events these are the ones that drop trinket mats.

The next type is Caravans. These vary throughout the week. Brick, Pale Steel, Scholarly Fragments and Soldier Pine are the regular caravans and then during events there are crafting mat caravans. The standard weekly Caravans go up to level 30 and the higher levels are more heavily concentrated around Winterfell and Sunspear. The crafting caravans go up to level 35 and like with the non-event mobs, the rewards get better with higher levels.

Next we have the Elite Creatures. These particular elites are available from level 31 to level 35, but there are event elites that can go from level 1-35. These creatures take 5 hits to kill. Each hit will drop rewards and in events, every hit grants points as well as drops. The Elite Deserter are gold soldiers on the field now and event elites vary in color depending on the event.

Standard event mobs are the next type of creature. These guys grant rewards that are unique to the event such as advanced mats for that month's gear set, trophies and coins for #recipes. These mobs drop crafting mats and they also drop random amounts of steel and is one of the best ways to acquire steel for crafting (prayers and packs are the other ways).

Not shown are Rally Creatures, will update with next rally creature event.

The prestige gained from hitting creatures is important to up your house level. The major reason house level is important is for crafting higher level gear. Prestige charts are posted above.
